    • Beyond the Itch-Brian's Journey Through Eczema and Withdrawal from Topical Steroids
Please PRINT out these 4 articles and give them to your doctors. The National Eczema Association (NEA) task force study (faintly) acknowledged TSW is a real entity. It is published in January 2015 Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. This is just an abstract but they can access the entire article, and it lists the TSW symptoms you're experiencing. Great opportunity to educate derms, docs, and other healthcare practitioners. Pray for open minds and hearts...

Thanks for the info.

I tried to pull up Dr Rapapport's research, but it said "page not found" and took me to the home page for his clinic. Should I search for it there?

Thanks for sharing this. It seems like there's a group of TSW patients who go to their doctors without papers like these - BAD IDEA. Doctor's won't take anything we say seriously unless we have documentation to back it up.

I was just wondering, why do not many doctors know about this? Is it a new problem?

I'm adding the link to the Indian Derm. Assoc.  Website that is featured in the latest ITSAN newsletter which gives a good description of what ts actually does to skin and its potential side effects.  Might be useful to print off if trying to explain to GPs or Derms why you've stopped using or want to stop using TS.

Stopped TS July 2014  but tsw started a couple of months earlier spreading from hands (contact dermatitis)to allover after two courses of prednisolone and a week of betnovate scalp. Prior to that had used betnovate, cutivate and OTC TS on and off for DE on hands aged 23 after reaction to antibiotics.
